It seemed like each team needed to feel the other out before fully letting their hair down. QB Jordan Johnson would be the first to let it air out. He connected with WR Desmon George who avoided defenders for a 69 yd TD to put Oakleaf up 7-0 at the end of the first. At half time it was 14-0 thanks to a 35yd run by George and a short touchdown run by Keylan Brown. Oakleaf would go up 21-0 and never look back as Keyon Garmon scored on a touchdown run to cap the scoring. Westside exhibited passion and heart, yet the Knights were clearly the more talented of the teams.
