Bolles kicks off the season with an impressive win over Lake Mary. As always, Bolles was sound in the running game rotating several backs to control the game throughout.
Behind Mac Jones, Amari Terry, EJ Porter, Jaylen McCloud Bolles offense racked up more than 400 yards.

Orange Park-28 Vs Creekside-12
St.Augustine-26 Vs Baker County-0
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
St. Augustine is quietly one of the best teams in the region and they made an early statement toward that notion against Baker county as they shut them out 26-0. The way their schedule looks going forward, the Jackets have a great opportunity to go undefeated.
@DuvalSports
Terry Parker-37 Vs Stanton-6
Mandarin-27 Vs Atlantic Coast-14
Matanzas-14 Vs Flager-7
Lakeland-35 Vs Ed White-10
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
-Parker has already increased their win totally from last year with the win over Stanton. They’ve improved immensely in just one year and will be eager to show it against tougher opponents.
-Matanzas squeaked out a tough one against rival Flagler Palm Coast. There’s a shift in power among some of the Flagler/St. Johns teams.
-Ed White went up early on one of the best teams in the state, but could not keep Lakeland off the field. Said one of Ed White’s coaches that spoke to Duval Sports afterwards, ” It was 15-10 at the half and they are ranked #2 in the state we played them tough in their house”. White will look to come back to friendlier confines to gain a win.

Bartram Trail-31 Vs Bishop Kenny-16
Columbia-44 Vs Gainesville-17
Eagles view-48 Vs Franklin-6
Clay-28 Vs Fleming Island-0
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
-Bartram Trail and Bishop Kenny battled to a 10-10 tie early in the contest. Trading blows seemed to be expected from two of the best programs in the area. Yet Bartram’s QB Joey Gatewood unleashed the arm and hooked up with WR Bryce Walker twice to get the victory.
-Columbia makes a statement to Gainesville and the rest of the region. Last year is behind them and they intend to put this year’s opponents behind them quickly as well.
-Eagles View was inspired by the view and played inspired all night!
-Clay shut out Fleming Island in dramatic fashion. A lighting delay could not delay Fleming’s misfortune.
Despite the football game being rained on (A lot) We still sunk the island! 😈💙 Take that Fleming! 2 years in a row! pic.twitter.com/MtpRdHa4nR

Englewood-32 Vs Paxon-21
Episcopal-44 Vs Wolfson-0
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
– Englewood has continued to look good throughout the preseason and now into the regular season. They held a up and coming Paxon team at bay after Paxon mounted a brief comeback. Deandre Gee was a much needed addition to the Rams arsenal.

-Episcopal blanked Wolfson 44-0 as the Eagles had a very impressive season debut. Joseph Brunell hooked up with Adam Boselli for a Brunell to Boselli connection. Phrases many local sports fans aren’t quite used to hearing. But the names are very familiar to fans, and the wins will be familiar too this year if the Eagles continue to play like this.

University Christian-37 Vs Providence-0
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
– University Christian surprised some with their win, but Coach Penland and his players weren’t surprised at all. Hussein Howe RB for UC scored from 3, 72, and 3 yards out showcasing his versatility as a running back.
@RBBoyd @904Preps_David @DuvalSports wow! We were expecting a much closer game. No knock to UC though!
— In the Game Florida (@InTheGameMagFL) August 29, 2015

Yulee-33 Vs Ridgeview-18
Christ's Church-37 Vs Faith Christian-0
West Nassau-41 Vs Baldwin-0
Pedro Vedra-17 Vs Nease-3
— duvalsportsoffical (@ClaudiusHines) August 29, 2015
Yulee, West Nassau, and Christ’s Church all put up lots of points against their opponents in week one. Ponte Vedra did not join the club in scoring points, but they did dominate the game just like those previous three teams did. All teams should be extremely excited to get the win .
