First Coast
Coming off a season that featured them in the Class 8A Regional Finals, the Bucs dismantled the Ribault Trojans last week. If anyone thought this team would have a playoff hang over from last year they were severely mistaken. Instead of a hang over, First Coast has had more like a roll over from last year, as they’ve hit the ground running.

Senior Linebacker Sherrod Pittman leads the Buccaneers on defense as they gave up only 6 points last week. Senior QB Deandre Johnson returns to the beach where he played youth football for the Jax Beach Jaguars. Alot has changed from those days however. Before he was playing for a Pee Wee Championship, now Johnson is playing for a State title.
This match up will feature First Coast’s defense versus Fletcher’s offense. Can Fletcher’s explosive offense put up points against the stout Buccaneer defense? This will be a great test for both units.
The difference in the game will be the Buccaneer offense. They are just to much for the Senator’s defense. Fletcher will keep pace on offense, but First Coast will have the ability to make one more stop than Fletcher on defense.
Bucs- 28 Fletcher 24
