University Christian advanced to the Class 3A State Semifinals after defeating P.K Young Friday night 66-58. Ja’Tavia Tapley led the Christians to a 43-14 lead at halftime. She finished the game with 25 points to lead all scores as UC won the game by 8 points. UC makes their second consecutive trip to State, and Tapley looks to cement her name once again in the famed state championship tournament.
