2016 Youth Basketball City Championships

Cuba Hunter Gymnasium (Jacksonville)- The Basketball City Championships have always been a great event in youth sports. Several youth basketball teams from around the area compete in the City Recreational League, with hopes of making it to the playoffs and eventually the championship. The two best teams from each division battled their way through a tough regular season to make it to the championships last Saturday. Check out our coverage of the Championship games below.

 


 

Lake Shore vs M.A.S.H

 

The Lake Shore Cavs were excited about their championship hopes after wins in the playoffs.

Lake Shore would face a very good team in M.A.S.H

D.O.T Trojans vs F.L.A Vikings

F.L.A came into the game as defending champions of this division, they would face D.O.T Trojans a talented team from the city’s Grand park area.

 

 


NEF (North East Florida) vs Team BluePrint ( Grandpark area)

The big boys would come out to play next as NEF faced Team Blue Print. NEF capped of a 10-0 season with their big championship win.

 

 

 


Lake Shore Bulls vs Kooker Park Vikings

This matchup would pit two teams that squared off against each other last year. The defending champion Lake Shore Bulls took on the Kooker Park Vikings.
