ESYFL Championships: The Big Boys Shine in Varsity & Junior Varsity Action

Check out the action from the ESYFL Championship weekend in the Varsity and Junior Varsity Divisions below!

Arlington -25 vs R.A.W-13

Javaris Lee and Joseph C.J Harris led Arlington’s Varisty team to a 25-13 win versus R.A.W. It was a great win for the team who has been shooting for a spring championship for some time now. ” It feels amazing, it seems like every year  we get there but we just lose..so for my last year it feels great to win it”– MLB/RB C.J Harris . They put in a lot of work for practice all week and it translated into success not only on championship Sunday, but playoff Saturday.

Many teams played back to back games in order to be crowned champions, and for the varsity division, that could be physically demanding with the size of the players. But the Seminoles didn’t miss a beat as they jumped out 19-0 on R.A.W,  and held off a late push by the Cardinals. Javaris Lee used his athleticism to drive Coach Dennis Parrish’s offense as Arlington hoisted the trophy.
