Spring Football kicked off in our area this evening with a few games on tap for some local teams. Check out some of the scores below.
Spring Football Scores:
Palatka-21 vs Creekside-0 -F
The Palatka Panthers scored early in their contest against Creekside and never looked back. Brian Smith scored on a 1yd touchdown run. Creekside completed a long pass from QB Slavin to JT Wood to get them to the Panther’s one yard line, but a reverse by Creekside ended in a fumble recovery by Palatka. A James Cambell pass to Givens for 56yds set up another TD by Palatka. They would add another on a TD run by Collins to end the game.
Fernandina-22 vs ACD-0 -F
St Augustine-39 vs Bishop Kenny-0 -F
Cole Northrup got the action going with a 60 yard bomb to Karim Brown for the game’s first touchdown. The Jackets scored on two Jahquise Russell touchdown runs to go ahead 20-0. Northrup would hit another bomb this time 85yds to Emerson Kabus for the score. In the end St.Augustine would roll to the spring victory.
