Englewood vs Yulee
Both defenses started strong for the Englewood Rams and the Yulee Hornets. Engelwood’s opportunistic defense scored first on a strip fumble return for a TD. They would make Yulee gain yards in short spurts and pressure the quarterback with sacks.

After getting the ball back, Yulee would drive down field thanks to the hard nose running of Jamari Peacock. Yulee would get in the endzone through the air however, as Kline found Mitchell for the short touchdown.

Englewood’s next opponent would present a completely different look for the Rams. Hilliard brought a traditional I- Formation and split back offense to spring, totally different from the Yulee Spread offense. It proved difficult to stop as Hilliard’s running back Armani Scott bruised down the field for the game’s first touchdown.

Check out the Hilliard offensive line on this touchdown. The center, right guard and right tackle absolutely mauled the left side of the Rams defensive line on this play.

Englewood drove down the field on their next drive on speed sweeps from their spread set, but disaster stuck when they fumbled a hand off which was returned by Hilliard’s #5 Davis for the touchdown.
Englewood would get on the board after driving down the field.QB Deandre Gee hooked up Prince who made an incredible juggling catch in the endzone.
In the end Hilliard would hang on for the victory in their jamboree versus Englewood.
Finally Hilliard would take on Yulee to determine who would come away with the clean sweep of the jamboree. It would feature two bruising running backs but two different styles of offenses.

The Flashes returned on offense with diversity in their play selection. It proved effective for the team, pushing the offense into the redzone.Yet the drive yielded points for the wrong team as Kaleb Graves returned an interception 100yds for the touchdown.

Yulee would close the game out with the victory to the excitement of the home crowd. They completed their defense of the home field in spring against two quality opponents. Yulee Head Coach Bobby Ramsay should be very optimistic heading into the fall.
