Local Big Dawgs Verbally Commit to Play College Football

Some of the areas most well known High School Football Players have shown their hands in the high stakes card game of college recruiting. Several athletes recently verbally committed to play in college publicly. Check out some of the most recent verbal commits to announce below.

Mac Jones – BollesΒ

Keirston Johnson- Lee

Quran Hafiz- Sandalwood

Jylton Tusha- University Christian

Donell Stubbs – University Christian

Titus Curry – University Christian

Isaiah Miller- Baldwin

Nick Tronti- Ponte Vedra

Jordan Smith- Bartram Trail

Brayden Matts- Sandalwood

Sincere David- Sandalwood

Willie Wright- Raines

From the Big Dog at Bolles Mac Jones, to Big Dawg Willie Wright of Raines, in a span of a month nearly fifteen local athletes have publicly verbally committed to college. It’s an uncommon occurrence for sure.

Albeit surprising, it is understandable from some athletes positions. Some athletes already know where they want to play and there are no other offers they’d like to consider. Some players are encouraged to commit early to ramp up the pressure from other schools that the player may be interested in. Of course nothing is official until a player signs on the dotted line either at national signing day, or if players early enroll. Congratulations to these athletes on making tough decisions concerning their higher education aspirations.

We’re looking forward to covering you in the fall!
