From the Big Dog at Bolles Mac Jones, to Big Dawg Willie Wright of Raines, in a span of a month nearly fifteen local athletes have publicly verbally committed to college. It’s an uncommon occurrence for sure.
Everybody committingπ

Albeit surprising, it is understandable from some athletes positions. Some athletes already know where they want to play and there are no other offers they’d like to consider. Some players are encouraged to commit early to ramp up the pressure from other schools that the player may be interested in. Of course nothing is official until a player signs on the dotted line either at national signing day, or if players early enroll. Congratulations to these athletes on making tough decisions concerning their higher education aspirations.
We’re looking forward to covering you in the fall!
