Local Track & Field athletes with the Young Achievers Sprint Club Inc, qualified for the 2016 AAU Junior Olympics. The AAU Junior Olympics will be held in Humble Texas, August 1st through August 7th 2016.  Young Achievers Sprint Club was founded in 1987 and their motto is  “Success is measured not only by the few seconds of Glory; but also by the Hours of Preparation.”( Young Achievers Facebook Page) Their motto has certainly translated into success as they were awarded 41 medals including 25 qualifiers for the AAU Junior Olympic Games. Several young athletes recently competed in Tallahassee, Florida to determine who would head to Texas for the Junior Olympics. Check out some of the names below of the qualifiers, and wish them luck as they compete against some of the best athletes in the country.
