Cedar Creek forced to Forfeit Game After Referees Fail to Show for Game

Apparently there were no referees to show for a High School Football Game between Cedar Creek out of Jacksonville Florida and Savannah-Chatham County. Cedar Creek was forced to forfeit the game because they were the home team. A Cedar Creek source tells us that the referees claimed the game ” was not on their schedule”. We reached out to one of the officials on twitter to get clarity on tis but have yet to receive a response. Both teams seem to be baffled by the Refs no show. Savannah clearly believes Cedar Creek will forfeit however Cedar Creek is in wait and see mode. We’ll keep you post on what occurs as far as allocating victories.
