Ribault Star Rennia Davis Narrows Her College List To…

Ribault girl’s basketball phenom Rennia Davis recently narrowed her list of colleges to commit. The senior is poised to be one of the nation’s top players, and has been one in our area since stepping on the scene as a freshman. As a junior, Davis led the Lady Trojans to the state championship defeating Bishop Moore.

She then would shine on a national stage at the Dick’s Sporting Goods National Championships in New York City. She captivated the crowd in attendance and millions of onlookers around the world with her dazzling moves and passion for winning. She would be named tournament MVP winning a national championship against Riverdale Baptist. of Maryland.

Davis didn’t stop there, as she was invited to the USA National Basketball team to try out. There she cemented her place among the world’s elite as she impressed scouts with her speed, size, and versatility. Many colleges would take notice, and see the talented junior for the remarkable play maker she truly was.

After entertaining offers from many schools, Davis has now officially narrowed her list of schools to just five colleges.

Kansas – The Lady Jayhawks went 6-25 last year, Davis’s services would be used right away with this rebounding team

Georgia Tech- We’ve seen alot of kids commit to Georgia Tech, as many love the lights and sights of living in Atlanta.  At 20-13 last year, they had lots of talent on the floor. With Davis they could go even further in the talented ACC.

Oklahoma- A 79-58 2nd round loss to Kentucky in the NCAA Tournament was a great season for the 22-11 Sooners. Davis could enter a program that’s  already riding high and ready to go further in the tournament.

Tennessee- The historic courts of Tennessee are always a place the most talented kids in the country want to play.

Maryland- The 2016 AP Top 25 school could land two of the stars from the Dick’s Sporting Goods National Championship, Rennia Davis and Riverdale Baptist’s Guard  Kaila Charles.
