Lake Shore- Lake Shore had a big appetite for scoring touchdowns Tuesday night, as they put up 26 points in their victory over James Weldon Johnson. #5 Martranius Mack rushed for three touchdowns in the game. Rushes from 40 yards, 18 yards and finally a 37 yarder to put the icing on the cake. Mack is a talented rusher and one of many in Lake Shores backfield. #1 Chris Freeman is also a talented running back and is one of the main reasons Lake Shoe is undefeated on the season.

James Weldon was their toughest test so far this year and Lake Shore passed with flying colors. Their defense led by Ernest Rick’s seven tackles and two sacks stifled the James Weldon Green Machine. Ricks and the other Lake Shore D-Linemen lived in the backfield all night and the weather conditions aided their efforts.

James Weldon Johnson made costly turnovers in the game, but we’re able to score on a fumble that was returned 60 yards for a touchdown for the JWJ. It wouldn’t be enough however, as Lake Shore showed they were on a mission.

Lake Shore keeps rolling at 4-0 and the test just keep getting tougher for them as they face Jeff Davis coming up. That game may decide who comes out of the Western division.
