We have reached the midway point of the season, only a few weeks left in the regular season. As teams make their final push towards making the playoffs.

I will break down each local district and tell you who is good shape, who needs help and who can already prepare for the 2017 season.

From 8A to 1A we have you covered with district breakdowns, telling you who is playoff bound and who is nearly packing up their equipment.

District 2-3A

Trinity (1-0) (4-2)

Episcopal (0-0) (6-0)

Providence (0-1) (1-4)

Schedule

Oct. 14

Providence at Episcopal

Oct. 28

Trinity at Providence

Midway report

Contender: Trinity (1-0)

Bubble: Episcopal (0-0), Providence (0-1)

Outlook: While Trinity is clearly the top team and should easily win another district title on its way to its fourth straight state title; the battle for the runner-up spot will be decided this week. The winner of the Episcopal-Providence game will be playoff bound, while the loser sits home. Don’t be fooled by Providence record, as the Stallions have been battled tested with losses to playoff bound teams Trinity, North Florida Christian, Fletcher and University Christian.
