Hurricane Matthew alters middle school games now

The devastation and toll Hurricane Matthew took on the First Coast area over the weekend not only postponed area high school football games but middle school football games as well.

While Matthew ripped apart coastal towns like Fernandina Beach, Palm Coast, Jax Beach and St. Augustine, inland communities were damaged as well.

Matthew forced Duval County School officials to close school last Friday and Monday, which forced the postponement of area middle school games as well.

Here is the updated schedule of games this week per the Duval County School Board Planet site.
