Gilbert Gets Fourth Shutout of Season!! Defeats Kirby 12-0

Jackson H.S-  Christal Smith scored from three yards out to put Kirby Smith away 12-0. Her Matthew Gilbert Panthers improved to 4-0 on the season as they served a goose egg to their North Division rivals. The game featured some of the most talented middle school rushers in our area. They would square off against two of the most talented defenses in our area as well. Kirby needed the win to stay alive in the playoff hunt and North Region Title conversation. While Gilbert looked to continue their overall dominance on the season, remaining undefeated and unchallenged. They would remain undefeated but this is the first time they were truly challenged on the season. Check out our coverage of this game below.

 

 

Gilbert will face Highlands next week, while Kirby welcomes YMLA ( Butler) to Main St.
