Hard to believe but there is only one week left in the regular season after this week.

A lot will be decided over the next two days, including district titles and district runner-up berths.

Is there anymore upsets on the prowl this week? Who will sneak in and get those last few playoff spots?

Week 10 Picks

THURSDAY

Union County (4-4, 2-1) at Baldwin (5-2, 2-1)

Outlook: Its simple here, to the winner goes the District 6-1A runner-up spot and a berth in the state playoffs, to the loser goes a possible bowl game to look forward to. Key for tonight is can the Indians stop FSU commit tailback Charles Strong, who has accounted for over 1,000 yards this season.

Andre: Union

Corey: Baldwin

Columbia (4-3, 2-1) at First Coast (3-4, 1-2)
Outlook: Both remain alive in the District 2-7A playoff race, but this could become an elimination game sort of, depending on how things go between Lee and Fletcher.

Andre: Columbia

Corey: Columbia

Lee (5-1, 3-0) at Fletcher (6-1, 2-1)

Outlook: It’s quite simple here, a Lee win clinches the 2-7A title for the Generals and could either eliminate Fletcher or create a three-way tiebreaker scenario. For Fletcher its in a must win situation really, a win could clinch the district title or create a three-way tie for first.

Andre: Lee

Corey: Lee

Stanton (1-6, 0-3) at Paxon (2-5, 0-3)

Outlook: There are no playoff implications on the line in this one as usual, but what is at stake is the Brain Bowl. Paxon leads the all-time series 9-8 and has won the last four meetings.

Series: Paxon leads 9-8

2015: Paxon 49, Stanton 20 (9-8)

2014: Paxon 30, Stanton 7 (8-8)

2013: Paxon 21, Stanton 7 (8-7)

2012: Paxon 19, Stanton 6 (8-6)

2001: No game

2000: ?

1999: Stanton 19, Paxon 14 (2-0)

Andre: Paxon

Corey: Paxon

Yulee (5-2, 3-0) at Ribault (3-3, 2-1)

Outlook: Yulee can wrap up the District 3-5A title with a win tonight, while eliminating Ribault from the playoff picture. A Ribault win creates a three-way tiebreaker Monday to decide both playoff spots.

Andre: Yulee

Corey: Ribault

Dixie County at University Christian (5-2)

Outlook: What a great playoff tuner for UC with the playoffs just two weeks away. The Bears are a solid program and were eliminated from the playoff a week ago with a loss to Newberry.

Andre: UC

Corey: UC

FRIDAY

Raines (6-0, 2-0) at Bolles (7-0, 2-0)

Outlook: A lot of stake in this one Friday as the winner takes the District 2-4A title and home field advantage in the playoffs. Consider this the tune up for the rematch in three weeks, with the loser going home.

Andre: Bolles

Corey: Bolles

Trinity (5-3, 1-0) at Episcopal (8-0, 1-0)

Outlook: Both teams are already in the playoffs, the winner takes District 2-3A and home field advantage in the playoffs, the loser hits the road.

Andre: Trinity

Corey: Trinity

St. Augustine (7-1, 3-0) at Middleburg (4-3, 3-0)

Outlook: Both are already in the playoffs, the winner takes the District 4-6A title and gets  home field advantage in the first round and avoids having to go to either Crestview or Niceville.

Andre: St. Augustine

Corey: St. Augustine

Bartram Trail (4-4, 2-1) at Oakleaf (5-2, 2-1)

Outlook: A year ago these two teams were in the same exact place, with the winner going to the playoffs, while the loser stayed home. Look for Oakleaf to get revenge and clinch the runner-up spot at home.

Andre: Oakleaf

Corey: Oakleaf

Clay (5-3, 2-1) at Palatka (3-3, 2-2)

Outlook: A Clay win clinches the District 5-5A runner-up berth and eliminates Palatka and Menendez. A Palatka could give them the runner-up berth and eliminate Clay depending on the outcome of the Orange Park-Menendez game.

Andre: Clay

Corey: Clay

Ed White (3-4) at Fleming Island (4-3)

Outlook: No playoff implications in this one but two teams desperately seeking another win to keep their bowl hopes alive. With the playoffs out of the reach, how will each respond in this one.

Andre: Fleming Island

Corey: Fleming Island

Santa Fe (3-4, 2-1) at Keystone Heights (2-5, 1-2)

Outlook: So much at stake for the winner of this game, depending on the outcome of the Bradford-Interlachen game, either could be eliminated, clinch the runner-up or be forced to play a three-way tiebreaker on Monday.

Andre: Santa Fe

Corey: Santa Fe

Interlachen (4-3, 2-1) at Bradford (5-1, 3-0)

Outlook: Bradford can wrap up the District 3-4A title and home field advantage with a win. So much at stake for Interlachen, who could either clinch the district, be the runner-up, be forced to play in a three-way shootout or even be eliminated depending on this game and the Santa Fe-Keystone outcome.

Andre: Bradford

Corey: Bradford

Bradenton Christian (0-0) at Christ’s Church (7-1)

Outlook: The first round of the Sunshine State Athletic Conference  playoffs begin Friday night and the Eagles are on a roll and excited to be at home again.

Andre: Christ’s Church

Corey: Christ’s Church
