Mandarin scored 55 points and yielded 0 to Flagler Palm Coast as the Mustangs rebounded emphatically from their loss last week to Spruce Creek. Sandalwood put up 41 points to defeat Deland 41-21, ensuring a three team playoff with Mandarin and Spruce Creek.
The scoring barrage didn’t let up on either side of the ball for both teams. Mandarin’s Meki Jackson kicked off the scoring with a touchdown followed by a pick six from Dominick Santiago. 14-0. A long run by Josh Steward and short run by Spencer Mollnow put them up 27-0 in the first quarter! The route was definitely on.
