The Middle School Basketball Season is in full swing and Duval Sports has been right here to provide you game updates each week! With every win the teams are positioning themselves for the Middle School Championship Tournament. Check out the teams that are leading the pack so far.

Boys Middle School Basketball Standings

The Mathew Gilbert Panthers are looking for a 3 peat in basketball and are off to a great start. They have jumped out to a three game lead over Highlands the next best opponent in their region. It looks like the 2017 championship road will go through Gilbert once again.

In the West, Jeff Davis and Jeb Stuart are battling for the top spot. Jeff Davis is undefeated in their division while Stuart has one loss. Davis has the inside track after their 44-36 victory over Jeb Stuart.

Girls Middle School Basketball Standings

The defending champion Highlands Girls Basketball team is picking up where they left off. Look for them to be prime candidates for a repeat this year as they roll into the post season again.

Highlands Girls


 

In girls basketball it’s Jeb Stuart and Jeff Davis atop the West division just as the boys but this time Stuart has the advantage. They’ll look to compete all the way to the final week in order to advance to the playoffs.

Arlington sits atop the East for the girls basketball region. They have a two game lead over Mayport and Landmark sitting comfortably. It looks like they will supplant Landmark as the defending regional champions in 2017.
