Frank Frangie Gives Back in 1st Annual Home Run Derby

Jacksonville FL- Walk off Charities presented the First Pitch Event featuring the First Inaugural Home Run Derby. It was a star studded event that included some of your home town media favorites such as Frank Frangie, Rick Ballou, Dan Hicken, Sam Kouvaris, and Chris Porter just to name a few. The event was held as a charity to help kids in need purchase baseball equipment. The charity also allowed persons to sponsor children in their efforts to play baseball. Some of the major sponsors of the event were Pajcic & Pajcic, BestBet, and Nimnicht.

It’s always a good sight to see Mayor Lenny Curry who is a big sports fan in support of these community events, as he spoke giving his proclamation of Walk Off Charities Day. In the wake of these events, the charity was able to raise $100,000 dollars by sponsorship alone, in efforts to help children around the community enjoy the sport of baseball.
