Back by popular demand, is the Best of the Best feature we debuted last summer. Last year was a hit with our Top Team of All-Time causing all kinds of controversy.
We plan on topping that with the Best Coach of All-Time. The Top 32 coaches from several sports have been put in single elimination bracket going head to head to claim the top prize.
The bracket will consist of four regions: Football, Basketball, Diamond and Miscellaneous with Diamond covering the top baseball and softball coaches and Miscellaneous covering soccer, volleyball and anything else.
In each region is eight coaches, each week we will release matchups and let the public debate who wins and try to persuade Andre Ellis and myself to pick who wins.
Among the coaches in the bracket are Corky Rogers, Verlon Dorminey, Bernard Wilkes, Al Austin, David Penland III and Robby Pruitt.
Let the battle begin.
