Middle School Football Preview: University Christian

It’s Middle School Media Day in Northeast Florida, and in preparation for the big day we interviewed one of the top Middle School programs in the area, University Christian. It’s an exciting time for University Christian this time of year. As their High School Football program prepares to defend their 2016 State Championship, their Middle School program is trying to build from that success. They have consistently won 5-6 games every year in a season that typically plays 6 to 7 games a year. It’s a high winning percentage for a team and program that’s used to winning.

A group that has been with the program since sixth grade are now ready to attempt an undefeated season mirror the success of their storied High School program. If you want to know where the champions are built for UC football, it’s right in their back yard. And they have some home grown talent this year that will look to showcase  their talents in their final year of middle school ball before making the jump to High School.

Some key players are Quarterbacks  Larry Edwards and Terrance Ford, William Belton is a big athlete that will be a big part of the success, Arthur “Fatts” their big time running back and team captain. Check them out this year as they go for it all!
