These players exhibit the stats, the stamina, and the stature as fine football players for their weekly performance on the gridiron. Each player of the week is acknowledged on our weekly Press Box Show, and will be honored with a special presentation during the season. Devin Outlaw
Team: Oakleaf Jr High
Position: Running Back
Stats: Over 200 yards rushing 2 TDS in loss to rival Lake Asbury. 85 yard run!

High School Player of the Week
Joey Gatewood
Team: Bartram Trail
Position: Quarterback
Stats: Gatewood scored on a 18-yard touchdown run, a 56-yard scoring run . He also tossed two touchdowns of 20 yards and 51 yards! He totaled 68 yards rushing and passed for 144 yards with 4 Touchdowns! He led Bartram to an upset win of the #3 ranked Mainland Buccaneers in week #2.
