Bolles Middle School- Trinity middle improved to 2-0 on the season with a 38-0 defeat of Bolles. The Conquerors took the Bulldogs down thanks to an incredible performance by their play makers. Quarterback Daniel Plummer III tossed two touchdown passes in the game, giving him 4 touchdowns and over 400 yards passing in just two games on the season. His partner in prime time Treyaun Webb picked up where he left off in his last game by rushing for three touchdowns against Bolles. Yet these stars of stars weren’t the only ones shining bright on Tuesday afternoon.

Plummer would hook up with Runye Norton for the first score of the game. Norton also starred on defense grabbing an interception in the contest. Not to be out done, the ultra talented Al Gibson would be the beneficiary of another Plummer touchdown pass as Gibson took it the distance for the score. Treyaun Webb looks like a man amongst boys on the field, and he looked the par against Bolles. Once he touched the ball it was liable to go for a touchdown and his three touchdown performance this week gives him five touchdowns in two games. Bryce Capers would finish off the scoring for Trinity on a touchdown run to complete the shutout 38-0.
The dominating performance was a shock to some but not so much to others. Trinity boasts some of the best middle school talent in the area, and their early season success has some suggesting that they should schedule a game with the 2016 Duval County Champions Gilbert Panthers. Gilbert kicks off their season next Tuesday, so we will see if both teams can go undefeated to spark the debate.
