Trinity wins a huge trap game shutting out Palm Beach Lakes

WESTSIDE – After driving hours from Palm Beach County, the Palm Beach Lakes Rams prepared to take on the Trinity Christian Conquerors and left with a 35-0 defeat.
This was the Rams first game in two weeks because of Hurricane Irma, while this was homecoming for Trinity, so both teams were ready for kickoff.
Neither team was able to keep the ball at the beginning of the first quarter. Trinity fumbled the ball, which was recovered by Jakari Starlings and a few plays later Stephen Williams hauled in an interception.

Winston Sweeting had a huge night for the Conquerors throwing for a touchdown, rushing for a touchdown and catching a touchdown as well.

Late in the first quarter, the Conquerors take it up notch with two touchdowns almost back-to-back on a 11 yard run from Dylan Pate and a 10 yard run from Winston Sweeting making the score 14-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Trinity was looking great on offense, while Palm Beach Lakes struggled to score. The Rams began to get frustrated as a personal foul was called on them shoving while a few words transpired with five minutes left in the second quarter.
In the last five minutes, Sweeting hauled in a 11 yard pass from Austin Thomas and Tyreke Johnson took a fake punt 68 yards for another score and 28-0 halftime lead. Two minutes after scoring, Johnson got ejected from the game for targeting.
The third quarter was a shoving match between the two teams, while the Rams tried their best to get their first touchdown of the night. There were a lot of mistakes being made by the Rams as well as a few penalties called on them.
The final touchdown of the game was made by Dreshawn Dawkins on a 11 yard pass from Sweeting making the score 35-0 as the clock began to run with no hope for a Rams comeback.
The win was a big one for Trinity as Palm Beach Lakes was a trap game for the Conquerors (4-1) after coming off a huge district win over Bolles last week and another huge game in the Jungle against host Columbia next week.
