It’s some power match ups that highlighted some power teams on our rankings this week. J.E.B Stuart and Jeff Davis battled for the western division, while Ribault and Gilbert battled for the North division. Several other teams showcased their talent and toughness against very good opponents which outcomes could really shake up the playoff picture. Check out the teams on this week’s power rankings!
- Ribault(4-0)– In the game of century, Ribault lived up to their hype by dealing Gilbert a 20-14 loss at home. This team plays with confidence and supremely talented. They instantly became favorites to win it all after the win.
- Gilbert (3-1)– Their 77 game regular season winning streak came to an end Tuesday after losing to Ribault. A remarkable streak for a remarkable team, with nothing to hold their heads down for.
- Dupont(5-0)– The Dragons have built early first quarter leads and intentionally refrained from scoring touchdowns at the behest of their head coach. After defeating Landon 35-8 and wrapping up the southern division Tuesday, the Dragons and their starters get lots of rest before the playoffs.

4. Jeff Davis(5-0) – How the west was won? By shutting out J.E.B Stuart. Jeff Davis had their hardest test of the season and they passed.

5.Landmark(5-0)– Landmark turned around and routed Kernan after playing three games in seven days. They will represent the east in the playoffs.
6.Fletcher(4-1)– Fletcher hoped that Arlington would defeat Landmark last week in order to force a three way tie breaker, but the Vikings couldn’t get the job done. Fletcher took their frustrations out on Arlington with a 28-6 victory, and can still throw a monkey wrench into the playoff machine if they defeat Jeff Davis the final week of the season.
7.J.E.B Stuart(4-1) They had their shot but couldn’t get the offense they needed to win the biggest game of the season. Cudos to their defense, holding Jeff Davis to just 14 points.
8.Mandarin(4-1)– Mandarin is rolling right now and gained a big victory of Twin Lakes Tuesday. No one wants to play them right now, and if they can’t get into the playoffs they’d love to shuffle the playoff seeding deck by defeating Landamark next week.
9.Arlington(3-2)– It was a tall order to play three games in seven days and bring their best to the table versus Fletcher. They would fall short.
10.Kirby Smith (3-2)- Kirby Smith’s two losses have been to the top two teams on the power rankings. They deserve to be in the top 10!
Honorable Mention: Twin Lakes, Northwestern,Highlands, Southside
