#5 Columbia vs #4 Lincoln
- Columbia (7-3)
The Tigers have played one of the toughest schedules in the state. They played a brutal mid season stretch that included Lee, Madison County and Trinity Christian and were able to go 1-2 in that span. Their third loss came to a Bolles team who’s back was up against the wall the last game of the season. The end result was a 7-3 campaign and runner up in their district. The point system worked in their favor, giving them the fifth seed overall. Columbia has recently gone to a duel threat at quarterback with Dylan Blair and Jordan Smith. Sophomore Kylen Callum is an explosive play maker for them who shows just how young and talented this ball club is. Their youth may pose as a hindrance in the playoffs, yet head coach Brian Allen is experienced both as a player and coach in that area and will have the Tigers ready for the challenge.
Key Players:
QB: Dylan Blair (1597 yds passing, 15 TDs, 3 INTs)
RB: Teon Dollard (1191 rushing yards, 17 TDs)
LB: Brandon Scott

- Lincoln (4-6)
The Trojans are coming off a stunning upset of Godby (9-1) that shocked analysts all around the state. The District 1-7A champions are the beneficiaries of a three team district. Head coach Quinn Gray in his first year has guided the Trojans to a district championship and playoff appearance. Gray coached at Mandarin last year, just missing the playoffs with a three team shootout with Sandalwood and Spruce Creek. He will field a young team in their first round matchup. Yet much like his playing days, it is one that possesses a dynamic air attack which spreads the ball around. The Trojan’s defense is one of concern though, giving up 30 or more points in five losses this year.
Key Players:
