Kissimmee FL – Congratulations to the 11U CYAA Wolverines on advancing to the AYF National championship game this week. The Wolverines advanced to the championship round by defeating the Howell Rebels of New Jersey 18-13 on Monday in the first round. The Wolverines then defeated the Easter Shore Spartans of Maryland 12-7 in round two to advance to the championship. It’s a great accomplishment for the youth football program based out of the Lackawana area in Jacksonville Florida. It’s the second year in a row that the park has represented Jacksonville at the AYF National tournament.

For 11U Coach Alan Hall, its something very special to see how far this journey has taken them. “It all started at PAL Sharks at Mallison Park 8 years ago, then two years later the PAL Sharks folded. Then Coach (Arthur) Johnson and myself, we started our own association call CYAA WOLVERINES. Me and Johnson feel great about this opportunity and we care about the kids in our area. Our biggest are helping kids to become a positive person in the future!”-Coach Alan Hall
Coach Hall, Coach Johnson and the CYAA family can add some rings to their helping hands this Friday when they face the Malboro Mustangs (MD) in Kissimmee for the National Championship.
