We release our 2017 All-Area football teams beginning this week, our All-Area teams are split up into small school and large school teams to give more kids due recognition.
Our large school teams (Class 5A-8A) consists of players from Sandalwood, Mandarin, Lee, Columbia, Fletcher, First Coast, Atlantic Coast, Bartram Trail, Fleming Island, Creekside, Oakleaf, St. Augustine, Nease, Ed White, Middleburg, Englewood, Ribault, Yulee, Stanton, Paxon, Suwannee, Bolles, Trinity, Ponte Vedra, Bishop Kenny, Parker, Westside, Baker County, Clay, Menendez, Ridgeview, Palatka and Orange Park.
Our All-Area teams are all about production and not about recruiting rankings or offers on the table. You don’t produce you don’t make our teams.

Why: At 6-5/305, massive lineman was key to Bears attack
Thomas Marrero, St. Augustine, Jr., OL
Why: Massive lineman helped paved way for Jackets offense
Nick Lewis, Bolles, Sr., OL
Why: There is reason why the Bulldogs run 99.9 of its plays to his side
Orlando Heggs, Bolles, Sr., OL
Why: Like his neighboring twin, the other reason they run to his side
Myles Morrison, Baker County, Sr., OL
Why: At 6-4, 305, you can see why the Wildcats ran to his side of the field often
Lee Graham, Baker County, Sr., ATH
Why: When his team needed him, Graham lined up at receiver, safety and even in the wildcat during the playoffs accumulating 1,678 all purpose yards (1,000 rushing, 678 receiving) and 22 total touchdowns. On defense he had 6 interceptions including 3 pick-six, 32 tackles and 11 pass breakups.
Jeremiah Payton, Fletcher, Jr., ATH
Why: Having to break in a new quarterback, Payton was asked to fill many roles and did accumulating 304 passing, 265 rushing, 627 receiving, 1196 AP yards, 7 TD
