What happened in Duval the last time the Jaguars had a home playoff game

The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars had a playoff home game Duval looked a little different than it does now.  The Jaguars defeated Miami 62-7 in the semifinals, and would go on to fall to the Tennessee Titans 33-14 in the AFC championship game. In High School sports around Northeast Florida we’ve always had very good and competitive teams. An as the Jaguars push toward their championship, lets take a look back at who had a championship run the last time the Jaguars had a playoff home game.

1999-2000

  •  Arlington Country Day defeated Brito Miami Private 10-1 to win the FHSAA Class A Championship
  • Bishop Kenny fell to Tampa Jesuit 4-1 in the class 4A FHSAA Baseball championship
  • Wolfson fell in the Boys Basketball Class 5A championship 69-54 to Gainesville
  • In Girls Basketball Nease defeated Washington 71-62  in the Class 5A FHSAA Basketball Championship.
  • Ribault defeated Cardinal Gibbons 69-50 in Class 4A FHSAA Basketball Championship
  • Trinity Christian fell to Frostproof 6-0 in the Class 2A FHSAA Football Championship
  • Suwannee fell to Glades Central in the 3A championship.
  • Bolles won the Class 4A track & field championships
  • Raines  Track & Field was the class 4A runner up to Glades Central
  • Bishop Kenny Volleyball defeated Cypress Lake in three sets to win the  class 4A championship
  • Clay fell to Astronaut  in the 4A wrestling championships.
  • In Girl’s Cross Country Bolles defeated Cardinal Gibbons in the 2A championship
  • Bishop Kenny defeated St. Thomas Aquinas in the class 3A championship.
