We saw some great action in week one of the Duval County Middle School Basketball season last week, where many teams made statements in the very first week of play. Gilbert Boys and Highlands Girls are the defending champions and started off strong in their openers. New comers like Darnell Cookman boys and Kernan Girls look ready to make some noise this year.
