Ponte Vedra (20-5)
One of the best basketball teams in our area plays in Ponte Vedra as the Sharks devoured many of their opponents in the regular season. A 58-40 win over Menendez crowned them district champions, but Jim Piggott and his team want much more. They have the talent to do it as well. Channing Chappell (15.3 ppg) and Tess Tibbits (7.9 ppg) are two of many play makers they have that can take off on you at anytime. It’s going to be exciting to see just how far these ladies can go. Bellview is up first for them.

Menendez (15-7)
Kerri Robison and the Falcons fly into the playoffs and will face Gainesville Eastside in round one. It’s going to be a tall order for Menendez, but players like Darrnisha Varnes (12.2 ppg) Darralela Tobler (8.0ppg) are ready for the challenge. Aniyah Foster (16.0ppg) is the player the Falcons can’t afford to play without.
