The best girls basketball team in Northeast Florida is arguably the Fernandina Pirates. Coach Jacob Nantz has his ladies playing with lots of confidence and its showed in their victories this year. Wins over a one loss team in Sandalwood and eventual district champ in Flagler Palm Coast proved that this team rises to the occasion. Alexis Schultz (16.9ppg) and Sydne Caddy (14ppg) are prime time scorers for the pirates! Bradford (11-12) stands in their way as a first round opponent!

Bolles (16-9)
Bolles upset Raines in the district tournament to earn a spot in the state playoffs. Coach Kelly Stevenson as the Lady Bulldogs playing hard and it’s shown in their close games including a district title game versus Fernandina. This sparky team is led by Fatima Samb (11.8 PPG. 9.8 RPG). Newberry is a tough team that will be a major test for this young but talented group.
