DELAND – With St. Johns Country Day girls soccer recently winning its seventh straight title and tenth overall, I was curious where those streaks stood around the state all-time. The First Coast area has done really well winning several state titles in numerous sports as evident by the ensuing list. Here is breakdown of consecutive state titles and overall state titles.
Brandon, which had won 17 straight wrestling state titles, saw their streak come to a shocking end this weekend after finishing second behind Lake Gibson. Bolles boys and girls swimming continues to lead both categories in consecutive state titles and overall state titles.
