Class 8A

Creekside 56 Bartram Trail 55

Just when you thought this St. Johns County rivalry couldn’t get any better, it just did in their regional semifinal contest. The Creekside Knights defeated the Bartram Bears as J’Michael Plummer scored 18 points for Creekside to top his good friend Bartram’s Xavier Hutchinson’s 14 points for the victory. The game came down to a last shot by Bartram that was made, however it was ruled a two point shot and not a three pointer which would’ve tied the game. Creekside moves on to the Elite 8 at Lincoln ( Tallahassee).
