In the second quarter Sharp found running back #13 Larickya Cummings on a swing pass to the corner of the endzone giving Orange Park a 20-0 advantage at halftime. Sharpe would add a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown in the second half to complete the afternoon with four touchdown passes and a rushing touchdown total. Cummings would put the icing on the cake with a blazing run around the left end for the sweet victory for OP.
It wasn’t just offense that dominated the day but defense as well. Orange Park held an athletic Ed White team to 0 points on the afternoon thanks in part to Rosa Sawyer. In addition to her plays on offense, Sawyer was all over the field on defense making several flag pulls. She refused to allow any big plays on defense. Ed White’s Quarterback #5 Alexis Evans proved to be an exceptional challenge for the Lady Raiders. She was the main focus of the offense for the Lady Commanders as she showed her speed and athleticism.

Yet Evans could not elude the swarming Raider defense led by Sawyer. Said Head Coach Valero ” I’m extremely proud of these young ladies, it makes you feel real good to know that you can count on them to give it their all”.
