Clay remains on top for fourth consecutive week

We have reached the final week of the regular season as the district tournaments are less than a week away, with the playoffs right behind that.

Clay holds onto the top spot for the fourth consecutive week, but the rest of the Top 5 took a shuffle as there were plenty of upsets lat week.

 

Week 4 Rankings

1 Clay (8-0) 

Outlook: The Blue Devils capped a perfect District 4-1A season with shut out wins over Orange Park 27-0 and Ridgeview 48-0 outscoring its district opponents 301-6 in the process.

2 Stanton (9-1)

Outlook: After 8 consecutive wins to open the season, the Blue Devils were stunned 21-20 by Sandalwood, but rebounded to beat Raines 25-12 last week.

3 Terry Parker (7-1) 

Outlook: Wins over Jackson and Ribault rounded out the week for the Braves putting the firmly in third in this weeks rankings again.

4 Lee (6-1)

Outlook: Generals don’t win pretty at all but continue to have one of the areas best defenses locking down First Coast 9-0 in only game of the week.

5 Fleming Island (5-1)

Outlook: The Eagles secured the top seed in the upcoming district tournament after winning its sub-district with a 13-12 nail bitter over Mandarin thanks to another failed extra point.
