GAINESVILLE – Oakleaf hangs on to the No. 1 overall state ranking in the newest Miracle Sports softball poll released today as well as the No. 1 ranking in Class 8A.
The Knights are not the only area team ranked in the poll as Bartram Trail and Columbia both in 7A, West Nassau and Keystone Heights in 5A, Providence and Trinity Christian in 4A, St. Johns Country Day and University Christian in 3A, Christ’s Church, Eagle’s View and Peniel in 2A and Union County in 1A are also ranked.
Area teams receiving votes include: Mandarin (9A), Ridgeview (6A), Baker County (5A) and Episcopal (4A).
