Football is back as Kickoff Classics take center stage next 3 days

JACKSONVILLE -Football is finally here as the season unofficially kicks off tonight with the annual Kickoff Classics.
Action starts tonight with games featuring Sandalwood at First Coast, Ed White at Matanzas and a three-team jamboree at Christ’s Church featuring Maclay and Hilliard.
On Friday, the lineup features Baker County at Baldwin, St. Augustine at Clay, Oakleaf at Fletcher, Bartram Trail at Mandarin and a three-team jamboree between Lee, Parker and host West Nassau.
The weekend concludes with a triple header in Daytona at Municipal Stadium, with Florida High and Stoneman Douglas playing at 1 p.m., Raines and Rockledge at 4:30 and Trinity Christian and Booker T Washington end the nightcap at 7:30 p.m.
