The Sandalwood Saints defeated the Raines Vikings 55-33 to grab 3rd place in the Gateway Conference Tournament this weekend. The Saints were led once again by stand out guard Nahkia Robinson who led the team in scoring and assists. Her efforts had Sandalwood up 33-9 in the first half. 
Raines was without star guard #3 Inesha Dowdell who injured her ankle in the previous game vs Ribault, so Tyra Mitchell and Kenya Jones would have to pick up the slack. Coaching adjustments in the second half allowed Raines to close the gap slightly, as the Lady Vikings kept playing hard. But the Lady Saints were clearly on a mission Friday evening. Maliaysha Glover, Tiera Payyne, Mahogany Hammond and Sierra Townsend all contributed on the floor to propel Sandalwood to the 22 point victory.
