#3 Inesha Dowdell ( Raines)
Dowdell was injured late in Raine’s third round game versus Ribault, and was unable to play in the consolation game against Sandalwood. But there was no question that she was one of the main reasons Raines made it as far as they did through the Tournament. Dowdell scored 21 points grabbed 6 rebounds and 2 assists to lead them in the upset of Wolfson. Her play opened up opportunities for her teammates to have big scoring outings during the tournament. Dowdell possessed a confident swagger that complimented her shooting ability. She wasn’t afraid to mix it up in the paint with the taller players as well. You want a player like Dowdell on your squad, as she lifts everyone with her syle of play.
