#10 Rennia Davis (Ribault)
Ribault has so many talented play makers that it’s hard to single out just one. On any given night, any given Lady Trojan can go off and dominate. But Rennia Davis isn’t just any given player. She is the player that can do it all. There is absolutely nothing she cant do. With the height of a center but the quickness of a guard, Re-Re is considered by many the total package. And this versatility was on display during the tournament. Against Mandarin, Davis scored 20 points in quick work against the Mustangs. She too scored double digits in each game of the tournament, as she was observed running the point, driving to the basket, and even posting up at times. Even with her ability to take over a game on offense, her finest performance may have been on defense against Paxon. Davis blocked several shots and harassed the Eagles players who were accustomed to being longer than their opponents. But Davis made them look small. With Davis the Trojans are able to pressure opposing teams into countless mistakes as her wingspan constantly blocks shots and deflects passes. She is “Weapon X”; the ultimate weapon for our basketball lineup.
