Terry LeCount QB Raines

Before there was a Mack Frazier, before there was a Patrick Sapp, even before there was an Ivory Durham IV, there was Quarterback Terry LeCount. Even though he came after the legendary Don Gaffney who quarterbacked the Raines Vikings, LeCount is credited as the one who led the Vikings to their first state championship appearance under legendary coach Jimmie Johnson in 1973. LeCount was an incredible athlete, a state champ in the 220 and  440 yard dashes. His speed at the position was second to none. In a time where playing Quarterback for Raines was like playing Quarterback for the Green Bay Packers, LeCount followed his legendary predecessor and achieved even more. A ring was the only thing missing rom his impeccable career.

De’Andre Johnson – QB First Coast

The most prolific Quarterback in First Coast history, De’Andre Johnson set the standard for the position very early. His freshman year, he burst onto the scene leading the Bucs to the State Championship game with 2,895 yards passing and 24 TDs. De’Andre threw for 3,710 yards and 47 touchdowns his senior year for the Buccaneers. For his career, Johnson passed for 11,585 yards and 122 Touchdowns, passing Tim Tebow for most touchdowns in a career (95). Only 29 interceptions in that span, and never missing the playoffs. A Florida Times Union Super 24 athlete, and the Florida Dairy Farmer’s Mr Football, Johnson was the man. A ring was the only thing missing from his impeccable career.
