In the first game of the season West Nassau scored 44 points in route to a 44-6 defeat of North Florida Educational Institute. In week 2 , the Warriors hung 31 on the Eagles of Episcopal in a 31-7 win. Their ability to put points on the board is an important key to the success West Nassau is having early on. Against Providence, Mumford displayed his precise throwing capability with a accurate throws leading his team down field. He would hook up with #13 Davian Williams for his first touchdown pass of the game.

Kaleb Crandell started the scoring for West Nassau. He has led the Warriors on the ground this season and showed why against Providence scoring easily on a 1 yard touchdown run and also a 6 yard romp to put them up early, never to look back.

Going forward, West Nassau must rely on their defense to seal victories and thus far they’ve done the trick. They’ve given up a combined 13 points in three games and are very opportunistic. Players like #4 Deebo Coleman who secured an interception against Providence, and #6 Jeremy Starling who returned a fumble for a touchdown against the Stallions are reasons why the defense is playing at a high level.

After the 35-0 shutout of Providence, West Nassau sets its sites on rival Hilliard (1-1) next. The way they are playing out of the gate, optimism is extremely high for the Warriors. However the Red Flashes will be their toughest test up to date.
