Jacksonville- Highland’s #7 Marcus Solomon scored the first touchdown of the game, opening the floodgates for a 20-0 shutout of the defending champion Ribault Colts. Highlands got prime time performances from their players, including #3 De’shy Beafort who scored an extra point in the game. Also, #2 Roman Doles threw an 85 yard pass to Beafort for a touchdown in the game. Beafort would close it out with a another touchdown in the game, while Jamari Allen anchored a defense that held Ribault scoreless.

Highlands will face Gilbert Tuesday 10.16.18 for their biggest showdown of the season. The game will ultimately determine if Highlands will go on to represent the North division in the playoffs, or if Gilbert will throw a wrench into the equation by dealing them their first division loss and setting up a big game versus Ribault.
