After a week off thanks to Hurricane Michael, St. Johns County is more than ready to get back to the field and finish the regular season.
With just two weeks left, only three teams (Murray, Landrum and Gamble Rogers) have wrapped up playoff berths, and 6 of the remaining 7 teams are still in position to clinch the remaining three bids.
All 5 games will play a part this week in deciding the remaining playoff bids, as a lot of spots are still up for grabs, with only Valley Ridge having been eliminated.
Standings Record
Murray 7-0
Landrum 6-1
Gamble Rogers 5-2
Fruit Cove 4-3

Liberty Pines 3-4
Sebastian 3-4
Patriot Oaks 2-5

Week 8, Oct. 17 (All games at 5 p.m., unless noted)
Gamble Rogers vs Landrum (Cornerstone): Both teams have already clinched playoff bids, but the winner can wrap up the No. 2 seed and first round bye in the playoffs.
Valley Ridge at Pacetti Bay: Despite just two wins, the Wildcats are still in position to possibly steal one of the remaining playoff bids, of course they must win today to remain alive.
Swiss Point vs Sebastian (Pomar): Coming in with the same record this could well be an elimination for both, with the winner remaining alive.
Liberty Pines vs Patriot Oaks (Plantation): Winner takes a gigantic step towards clinching a playoff spot depending how other games fare.
Murray vs Fruit Cove (Plantation, 7 p.m.): The hottest team in the league with three straight wins is Fruit Cove, the Flyers will have their hands full trying to stop a Murray team that has rolled through the league untouched.
