Defense Carries St. Augustine Over White and Atop District 4-6A

St. Augustine- The game between Ed White and St. Augustine was for all the marbles. The winner would sit in the playoff driver seat of district 4-6A , while the loser would be thrust into the back seat awaiting a decision by the points system. The stakes were high for both teams, and the players played as such. In the end, the Jackets would squeak out the 10-7 win, controlling their own destiny to the playoffs as district front runners. They must take care of business versus Nease and then an upset hungry Middleburg team to secure the district. As for Ed White, their on the outside looking in, currently sitting 9th in points in the latest 6A Power Rankings. They have Englewood and Middleburg left as district opponents.
