Lee Dominates in Win Over Ed White

WESTSIDE –The Lee Generals capped off a great regular season with a blowout victory 42-6 over long time rival Ed White. Lee scored 28 points by halftime thanks to scores from a Taz Nicholson on a touchdown run and touchdown reception, a Juriel Caldwell touchdown catch, and a DeShaun Davis touchdown reception.

Quarterback Cam Sapp tossed three touchdowns in the first half giving the Generals a commanding lead over Ed White. Second half scores by sophomore RB Cobie Bates and the beast DE Ralph Mency on an interception return for a touchdown cemented the win.

Lee (8-1) will almost certainly be selected as playoff participants with  42.13 points (before their game with White), second only to district champions Columbia.

Ed White (4-6) hopes of making the playoffs currently stand in a 3-way tie with St. Augustine and Nease in District 4-6A. White currently has 33.33 points (before their final game), they trail St. Augustine who had 34.78 points.
