Harold Carmichael
Harold Carmichael was a NFL Wide Receiver of 13 years. During this time he was a member of the Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, and most notably the Philadelphia Eagles.
He was elected to four Pro Bowls in his NFL career, and led the league in receptions and receiving yards during the 1973 season. He finished third in receiving yards in 1978 with 1,072 and was second in receiving touchdowns in 1979 with 11.
In 1980, he set an NFL record at the time by catching passes in 127 consecutive NFL games. He was also the Eagles’ top receiver of Super Bowl XV, with six catches for 91 yards. For his career, Carmichael amassed the following stats. -Reference Wikepedia

Carmichael attended Raines High School where he played Quarterback. He went on to attend Southern University playing Quaterback, until switching his position to Tight End and Wide Receiver in the NFL. Some believe that had African American Quarterbacks been given the same opportunities then as they do today, Carmichael may have remained a Quarterback. Retiered from the NFL in 1984, Harold now works for the Philadelphia Eagles apart of their front office. He was inducted into the Philadelphia Eagles Hall of Fame in 1987.
