Creeks Can’t Break Through Brick City at Pop Warner Super Bowl

Orlando Fl- For the second year in a row, the Creeks Outlaws became the D2 Southeastern Pop Warner Champions. Last year, Head Coach Steve Owens and company made it all the way to the Junior Pee Wee Super Bowl 61. This year as a Pee Wee team and many of their players returned, the Outlaws were able to make it to the Super Bowl tournament again. Standing in their way was a Brick City program from New Jersey that boasted several teams in the national tournament. Their Pee Wee team is considered the best, however the Creeks Outlaws would give them all they could handle and more.

It was a hard fought contest with both teams making big plays and fighting tooth to nail. In the end, Creeks would fall 40-32 in the quarterfinal round of the 62nd Pop Warner Super Bowl,  at Disney World. Missed opportunities plagued the Outlaws as Brick City made just one more play than Creeks to defeat them. Yet for the Outlaws, a city Championship, regional championship and Super Bowl quarterfinal appearance is certainly worth celebrating. Congratulations Creeks on a job well done.
